Baby skin care is perhaps the most difficult task of a new mother. Since, baby skin is prone to attack easily by dust, dirt it is a must need to maintain hygiene all the time. Here are some tips for baby skin care:

It is essential to take care of the umbilical cord during post birth session. Keep this portion clean and allow the place to dry quickly, fold nappies down at the waist.

Use sponge bath, until the umbilical cord falls off. And for the first six months babies are to be bathed twice or thrice a week. Giving bath regularly can some time cause to produce dry skin. Use warm water to keep your baby healthy. It's an integral part of baby skin care

Avoid using lotions, creams, baby powder as far as practical. Also avoid the use of oil or, any greasy substance on the skin of the babies, because these things can block the sweat glands and cause harm for the babies.

Change nappies or diapers regularly, otherwise the baby skin can get affected seriously. Baby can suffer from skin rashes.
